Weight Loss Tips: Have you ever really considered how powerful your thoughts are?
Being or becoming a Manifesting Master you discover that your thoughts create things. Because your thoughts create things they are extremely powerful. Your thoughts are so powerful that they control your biology. The trillions of cells in your body are listening carefully to everything you say.
Let’s start with a ‘sad’ analogy so you can be clearer on how to use the Law of Attraction for weight loss.
Let’s say you are sad. You are REALLY sad because your relationship ended or you lost your job OR OR OR… Whatever the reason your every thought is focused on sad. You even become quite obsessed on being sad.
What are some choices you might make that day? A great match for sad would be to listen to sad songs or watch sad movies. I remember purposely choosing really sad songs when I was sad. I would listen to them alone behind closed doors. The next thing I did was really cause myself to sob to the sad songs. One thing for sure is that I could really get my sad on in my 20’s.
Need more to add to your sadness? You will call a friend who is also sad or who will listen to your sad story and say, “You poor thing”. Do you start to feel less sad? Nope. In fact, you start to feel so justified being sad that it may go on for several days to weeks.

- How did I get here?
- I’m embarrassed
- Look at the scale
- Am I doing this right?
- What will people think?
- How long do I have to do this?
- I want to eat anything I want
Remember whatever you think about or focus on you get more of. What do you suppose you get when you are focused on ‘I’m so fat”? Yep… more fat and more weight.
What do you get more of when you are focused on “Am I doing this right?” You just set yourself up to make every mistake in the world.
“How long do I have to do this?” I do not suspect a lifetime health habit will be set with that thought.
Weight Loss Tips: What else can I possibly focus my thoughts on other than losing weight?
Our biggest goal is to have you focus on being comfortable. By focusing on feeling comfortable and feeling good it will take your thought focus off of what caused the discomfort.
Here are a few things I discovered that worked for me.
#1 Wear comfortable loose clothes right now: I want you to find the most comfortable things in your closet and wear those only right now. This is not a time to wear anything that reminds you how many pounds you have to lose. What we’re doing is creating a thought space for you to focus on COMFORTABLE. You will also notice that you will start to FEEL GOOD in comfortable clothes. One of my clients went to the local thrift store and created a whole wardrobe for where she was in that moment. It was a lifesaver and it didn’t cost it much to do that.
#2 Ladies wear a comfortable bra: Ladies is your bra cutting into you? Buy an inexpensive extension to give you more comfort. The best part is it will take your thought focus off of how uncomfortable you are.
#3 Leave the scale out of the picture: The scale is a horrible measurement of how well you are doing. I suggest you weigh and not look at the scale. Have a friend write your weight down and put it away someplace. Have the same friend take measurements. They are definitely exciting to look at when they start to change, but do not focus your thoughts on any of those numbers. Instead start to notice how you are feeling after making a few healthy changes.
#4 Notice how you are feeling in your clothes: One of the best thought focuses is noticing how your clothes feel. There is so many ways you can support your physical wellness. You already know what to do. Make one change each week and over the next year (52 weeks = 52 changes) you will be a new person.
#5 Start to notice your energy levels: As you make more and more healthy choices you will start to notice your energy increasing. Get really excited about that! There’s more where that came from.
#6 Notice how much easier it is to move: Whether you are getting in and out of the car or going up a set of stairs it will start to feel easier. Notice anything and everything that feels easier to move.
#7 Notice how good your stomach feels when it is empty: This was a life saver for me when I started to get hungry for chocolate or certain junk foods. I kept focusing on how good my stomach felt. My belly wasn’t sticking out as much and that felt good. I would lay down and feel how quiet and comfortable my belly felt. So each time a hunger urge would show up I just kept FEELING HOW GOOD MY STOMACH FELT.
